Driving while stoned

wtf does that prove? your 17 buddy, do u think you've just gained SOOOO much road experiance that u are so above weed impairing your driving?

do you even own your own car?

and yea, i'm really impressed with ppl driving on shrooms too

 

I drive stoned all the time. I've been doing it for 12 years now. It helps me focus alot better. The best is on those long rides to vacation or for work. Blazed the whole time. Never had a accident or got pulled over due to being stoned. It affects some people different though. My friend gets blurred vision & slow reaction responces I think he's one of those people who shouldn't bake & drive.

 

as soon as i got my license three years ago, i started working as a pizza delivery guy... this summer i'm back there again (great student summer job), and i'm starting to remember how much i HATE driving. anyone else here who would much rather be a passenger? i think it's mostly cause i have a POS car (94 Mercury Topaz), but driving just doesn't do it for me. i do drive high often, though, and it makes it quite a bit better, and usually i feel pretty secure while doing it. if i dont feel secure, i stop for a bit.

 

i just did it yesterday with a big ass truck that im not used to. went to McDonalds with my freind. and went threw the drive-threw and it wasn't hard at all. hella tight corners but i did pretty good ^_^

 

just like i told my principal... " how am i supposed to get to school i cant drive high?" "I'd be late if i waited for it to ware off"

 

It's usually not a problem for me. But when it is, whoever is in the passanger's seat usually yells at me when it looks like I'm about to fuck up, and that generally gets me back in line.

When i've smoked bud I drive really slowly even though it seems really fast alchohol is the opposite though I speed along thinking it is slow. Drinking alchohol and driving is bad. Smoking weed is not recommended but if your like me you'd be driving to slow to be that much harm.
I used to drive back from raves coming down of 'E' and 'acid'. Whenever I saw a cop car major para attack.

 

I guess we all know our limits, personally while many of my friends can drive stoned, no problem. But I know my state when I'm high, and driving is just something I wouldn't attempt.

 

Marijuana effects each person differently. A study was conducted with long term habitual smokers that showed driving skills were actually improved while stoned as compared to when they were not. This study used people that smoked all the time for several years not casual users. If you don't feel safe driving high then please don't. You probably know how it effects you more then some else does, especially if you think you are risking your own life and others.

welll...some people i know can't do it high. they trip out reaal hard. it gets crazy. but i do know people that can do it well. i feel safe..

Radio-Canada made a study once. They had 3 guys driving between cones. First sober, then after 2 joints, and after 3. One guy was as good as sober, one was better and the third, who also drank beer, was worst.
