wanted to ask some thang about hotels over there in amsterdm, if i was to get a one bed room hotel and wanted to bring 2 or 3 people w/me, would they have to sneek up or would they let them walk up? could we just walk up 1 at a tyme like we dont know each other? do they check every one to see if they stay in there hotels when you come thorw the door?
considering there are thousands of hotels run differently its pretty impossible to answer your lame question. save your money and don't squat.........tourism exists to make money you know. feel grateful that there is a place where you can pay money to legally have a good time.
Actually they DID check at my hotel and verbally let it be known that if anyone other than 2 people stayed the night we would be charged the triple rate. I also had to surrender my key everytime I went out and show the ID card they gave me when I came back for the key. Don't you think they've encountered this enough to stop it? Save your money and go when you can afford it.
i suppose there are ways of doing it but you would have to know the layout of reception as thats usually straight in front of the main door.As a lot of hotel buildings are dutch gables then it is almost impossible. However,you havnt heard this from me, right. last year i stayed at the hotel france fab location,good for every where. however when i checked in they were expecting a couple but had charged me for a single but i discovered my room was big enough for three with three beds in it also it was right opposite the linen cupboards and domestics stores and there was a small stairway from reception down to the room which i discovered later that day, so , to summise if you could arrange for this room,room 120 i think then it would be possible to sneak others in and out.but there would be a lot of logistics but they have a large turnover of staff and guests so there are always people coming and going.
