flip flop sandals lately? everywhere i go, everything is flipflop themed, i mean they even make sandal jewelery and car air fresheners shaped like thong sandals i dont get it, what's the appeal... ps, we're making flipflop sandal crafts right now bc my child thinks they're waayyyy cool.
When I visit my parents, who live at the beach, there is a flip flop shaped notepad in my room. I don't get it either. And a fly swatter shaped like a flip flop.
I think it's kind of fruitty too. Kind of off topic, but kind of not since you mentioned that you were doing a craft with your kids right now! Do you have any favorite sites with craft ideas for kids? I go to Perpetual Preschool a lot, but I'm looking for some other reputable sites if you've got any because you always seem to have good pages!
Haha that is strange.. But flipflops are one of the bestest things in the world, maybe people are just really starting to appreciate them.

bwahahaha! lol, funniest thread pic of the day award! ps, hcm, naw we just freestyle with the crafts around here. i took lots of art classes when i was younger and the kiddo has an imagination the size of the universe. we did pick up a book about how to draw bugs from the art store the other day and that's been fun.
That's great! I was always into art, took some lessons as a child too. Although I don't think I'm very good at drawing, I mean, I do mediocre, I'm better at the artsy-craftsy type projects! I'm just always looking for projects for the kids. They absolutely love it (as do I!)
it's amazing what you can do with a bit of chicken wire and some paper mache. i bet that one could even make a person sized flipflop.
