hey you guys! ive not been around too much lately...got a new job that i start on monday.. i did just finish a couple things tho.. i think i shouldnt be allowed to make shirred bodices anymore tho!
OooOoooh great job!!!! i especially like the last one...all 'sherbert sweet' & girly! that fabric looks vintage!
oooh its totally vintage! my mom gave it to me...she had it since at least the late 80's..just sittin in her closet...for ages!
Um, I hardly call that junk! I love the shirred parts, they really 'make' a piece of clothing - how do you do it?
thanks! here is the thread where i explained how to do it.. its really super easy! http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165362
Great job. I am in love with the first one. I saw it in my Ebay favorited yesterday. It is awesome. Kate
lol, it's me again, still a little confused....do you also put the elastic thread in the 'regular' area...i know that sounds dumb.....do you only put it on the bobbin (that sounded better) and put normal thread across the top of the machine? this seems like a really dumb question........lol
you only put the elastic thread in the bobbin..regular thread in the top..try it on a scrap before you really try it.. not a dumb question at all.. thanks you guys!
thanks! I'm making a dress for my dh's grad on the 29th, and I'm thinking of doing making it like one of those! I found this awsome white and pink tiny plaid fabric at walmart for 1.97/meter! I was sooooooooooo happy! I also bought this white fabric lace to go around the bottom...I'm so excited! lol
Those are so beautiful! You really do make such lovely clothing! Seriously folks, her stuff is so well made and so professional!
I have to say I love that fabric at Walmart, but I was aphrehensive about buying it because I wasn't sure of how chincy it was. It looks beautiful.
