I don't know about FAILURE... doing what ya want to do is an accomplishment in a way, provided you hurt no one. If you are going catch and release, that is all good! Fish can't feel pain in their lips, despite what PETA would have you to beleive. How else could they eat crawdads/crayfish? They have some big ass pinchers! Don't you think they'd be putting up a fight if they were being eaten? Various studies have been done, none can really "prove" if fish feel pain or not. We know that the actual hook doesn't cause the fish harm... I don't think that their body temp is high enough for them to get an infection, and it doens't disable them in any way. Like I said, it is most likely they do not feel pain, otherwise why would they be stupid enough to eat things that will pinch their mouths? If ya REALLY want to feel better about it, cut/grind the barbs off the hooks. You run the risk of loosing the fish easier, but it will be a lot easier to get the fish off the hook and will cause it less trauma.
meat is just gross. and to the OP: i shower. if you have dreads, you're actually supposed to wash them to keep it from molding. oh sweet tea tree. and i just wear whatever i find in my closet.. i dont think its retro.

i'd just thought i'd say, i didn't mean that people that eat meat piss me off, people that waste food piss me off and i've heard the 'vegetables are alive' thing over and over again, vegetables can't feel the way animals can i don't care if people eat meat or not, it's perfectly fine, my only concern is the treatment of animals, and i consider fish to go along with that have fun fishing, i mean it, if you enjoy doing something do it, it's your life
