I had an experience two days ago.
I was walking to get the mail.
    It was about 11 p.m.
I have had no sleep, because I have been worried lately.
Anyway, I kept thinking I was seeing people.
I was sweating and shaking, and wouldn't step into the street light.
I went inside and started shaking teribly.

The only panic attack I had was coming down of acid I rolled up a spliff with liquorice papers shortly after smoking it the car seemed to close in on me I had to get out of it quick. My heart just seemed to sink and a feeling off dread engulved me. It was horrible but more than likely it was caused by the acid. Since then though I never use liquorice papers. Only beacause of association. Pavlovs dogs etc.

Panic attacks are always bad and annoying. There will never be an instance in my life where anxiety is helpful. At all.

Wow, this is intriguing... it seems like a lot of stoners get panic attacks.... I mean for me that doesn't make sense, I've never had a panic attack cuz weed makes me happy and mellow and chilled out and stuff... I really don't even get paranoid unless I'm like..... near a whole bunch of cops or something. lol.

A lot of people have panic attacks regardless of weed. If you have any underlying minor mental problems some strong weed especially sativas can amplify them as it makes you a lot more self aware. I have seen apparently normal people ( non smokers ) go completely insane after a bong of super strength weed. One Swedish lad who was hitchhiking dived out of my car whilst it was still going proclaming I was the devil after smoking a pipe. Me and my friend managed to get him back in the car to try and calm him down. He was completely histerical. When we next, stopped he ran off again I haver never seen him since.

You would be surprised what the average person will do while having a panic attack. Their sanity is gone instantly and are locked in their own mind.

Thats really the only issue with Pot is the occasional or frequent panic attacks or just paranoia in general. Most people will quit or cut down in their lifetime because they get overwhelmed by the anxiety and tension.

    always work out...
i work out every other day to stay fit...
helps get the thc out a little since i take creatine to lube my muscles and i drink lots of water...
and dont smoke soo much... at least smoke a couple days and then take a 1 or 2 week break... take it like a cycle so your body is used to it

just always have a positive mind set and if you are going to smoke , do it somewhere safe so you dont trip on yourself.... just be healthy when you smoke or youll end up lazy staying in your house all day panicking the fuck out.... its happened to all of us but youll find ways to overcome it with just simple stuff... for me its just working out and not worrying about anything....

Yeah i've been having them lately from smoking weed and yesterday from drinking. It's not the paranoid kind, it's the extreme anxiety and pressure in the head kind. Also the first time i had one i thought it was a seizure because i went into convulsions and pissed myself. I'm wondering if i take a xanax will i be able to smoke/drink without having them? I know that probably varies, but i'm speaking in general.

i had a panic attack of sorts the first time i smoked weed. i got really twitchy (a normal side effect but i didnt kno that at the time) and started thinking that i was having an allergic type reaction to the weed. i felt my heart and it felt like it was gonna burst out of my chest. all the ppl who i was with also said i was extremely pale. then i just relaxed and had a good ass time lol

I've always had anxiety problems. I can be perfectly normal one moment and the next start breathing heavy and sweating and my heart starts beating uncontrolably. The first time I smoked my anxieties were magnified but I think that it was just because I hadn't started to face my problems yet, so I don't blame it on smoking. I stopped for a while because my anxiety took over my life, afriad to leave the house, thinking all food was poisonious, refusing to eat and eventually going to the hospital and getting better. Now I smoke again and it is really beneficial to relax me and help ease some of my tension.

I have a anxiety disorder which comes from my heavy past drug use starting at the age of 15 ending at 18. Alot of coke, pcp, acid, shrooms, alcohol,& pills. I also smoked alot of weed, but I don't put that in the same class. I did rehab, & it helped me get away from the drugs that were fucking my life up.After 6 months my anxiety disorder happened. Now I have to take meds to help me get through day to day. I smoke weed on a daily basis. It truly helps with my anxiety problems. It also helps me focus better to get things done at work & home. Sorry for rambling on, but I could write a book on my life with the shit I've been through.
