i never learned how to ride one...tried once when i was young, got the hang of it on training wheels, but never caught on to riding a regular bike. when i was around 12 or 13, my dad tried to show me how to ride a bike again, and i almost got it, but all the younger kids that knew how to ride bikes made fun of me and mocked me , so that basically shot my confidence and i havent really tried since then. i'd like to know how to now, i just need a teacher =/
Eh...i cant swim,im scared from deep water But i had such a nice BMX,before somebody stole it from me
I've been able to ride a bike forever. Its easy to learn to ride a bike. You just have to learn how to balance yourself on it. I can ride with no hands pretty well. Swimming is also pretty easy to learn, but more difficult than how to ride a bike.
The thing with bikes is that they balance themselves- the spinning wheels keep the bike from falling over, thats why its so easy to ride without hands like Green said. You can even turn corners without hands without much difficulty, once you get the hang of it. Really, just borrow someone's bike or buy a cheap one, find a parking lot and push yourself around with your feet. You'll be pedalling within the hour, seriously! Remember that it's easier to balance the faster you go, because the wheels spin faster.
thanks for the tips i doubt im going to do that now while im in AZ when the lowest tempature in the summer is 100 ...but once im done with school and find time, i will take your tips and hope to know how to ride a bike by this time next year
I dont know how to ride a bike either... I feel so deprived.. But im so uncoordinated its a bit spastic.
yeh man i cant ride a bike. i did the whole training wheels but then didnt progress out of them then i was out at a friends beach house with him and he wouldnt let me eat dinner until i learned to ride it. it was relatively easy once i got the swing of it, the whole confidence of speed (caus the speed makes it easier). but i totally stacked it a few times. i guess you need to stack it in order to learn your limits. but ive not ridden one since and i think id have to relearn it again (not totally of course) because i didnt hardwire it bikes, skateboards, and surf boards i cant really get the hang of it. ive found ice skating fun though. i think it has to do with how extended the vehicle is from my body. if its detatched from me its sort of awkward, but skating is mroe intimate. as with body boarding lol but anyone can body board. i just find i cant help myself underbalancing or overbalancing my body. if i get a little out, i overcompensate and it chain reactions. i guess just practice, but ive not got any of these thigns myself. actually i think i might have some roller blades, maybe ill try learning them again (ive not tried since ive become a stoner.. and ive learnt a few cool things with my body since then)
