Women's increasing curvy and more full shapes

I have heard on TV that this shape for women is popular because it is inspired by the the nice-looking curvy hippie women in the 60's. Is this true?

I don't know. But I am tired of people telling me that curvy women are more attractive than skinny ones. What, just because I am skinny I don't have feelings? I wish people would stop saying that a certain shape is more attractive, it's not going to happen, but I wish it would.

 

What do they say about fat girls?

 

I think society needs to realize that real women come in ALL shapes and sizes...skinny, curvy, short, tall, whatever. In a perfect society, we would all accept our bodies for what they are.

 

nahhhhh, even in a perfect society, people will still bitch and complain. Its just what they do. And theyre damned good at it.

 

If society is finally figuring out that those boy looking waifs that the media has been pushing @ us for the past few years are unhealthy looking that is great IMHO. Women are supposed to have curves. We fall into the catagory of mamals because human females have mamary glands to feed babies. Pregnant women need to carry babies within them for nearly 10 months then somehow get them out. Wider hips make all of this more easier.

I'm not in any way saying that the sole purpose of women is popping out babies but I do think it is a big factor in why women have the shape they do. If I remember what I learned about natural selection in school, living things morphed into what they are now from eons of successful traits. Common sense & a little mechanical knowledge tells me that to do the whole pregnancy thing walking upright you are going to need a wider base. I have pondered if this has anything to do with the rounder tushes (as counter balance) but have less than just my pondering there. Definitely having a larger opening in the pelvic girdle just makes sense when it comes time to let the young'un out to start their own journey in our world.

 

I prefer a more curvy woman. What I seem to prefer appears to be what women dont want though. They want something else. I, however, wish I had 6 pack abs.....so I guess I am no better.

 

I don't know what you mean by curvy, but if you are referring to the tons of hot, phony, airhead bitches you see when you walk into a mall, looking all prissy and with a phone to their ear, then I would agree they are evolving nicely. Everything is evolving but their brains, but who cares about that?

Why is it that people seem to think it is perfectly ok to say that skinny girls look disgusting?

 

I can speak for many males when I say skinny women are attractive, but I do prefer women with a bit of...mass, I guess,.....to them.

 

She's clearly jealous of those "boy-looking waifs," or else she wouldn't have sounded so angry about it.

I understand that Andy and that is totally ok. I just don't like it when people say that skinny people are unattractive, nor do I like it when people say that curvy people are unattractive.

In fact I went to the mall this past afternoon b/c my friend needed to return a swim suit & I def. saw too many girls Like Pressed_Rat described with guys googeling eyes comin out of their heads. And its like I just don't see the attraction, but then again I'm not a guy, so maybe u could explain it to me!??
