Does weight change (loss or gain) affect the appearance of tattoos? I'd like to know about mild, moderate, and drastic weight changes. Obviously REALLY drastic weight changes can make a tattoo look different (or like crap) but I was just wanting to know if anyone knew anything about the other "ranges" of weight changes, and what they do to pre-existing tattoos. Thanks!
what about developing more muscle mass where previously there was less? sorry no answers, just another question
I've lost and gained weight (160lbs being the highest, 105 being the lowest) and it really didn't change my tatts that much. I've got ink on my arm and belly and they have stayed pretty much the same for years of weight fluctuation. Now, getting pregnant tore up the belly tatt. What used to be a beautiful old-school koi has now become an abstract impressionist interpretation of a koi. LOL-What was I thinking to put ink on my stomach?
I got a cute lil' hummingbird sippin nectar froma flower down where like, my panty usu. covers it, just up and to the right. I was 140lbs, + or - a little. WEll, now I've had two kids and I weigh more like 160lbs. I have a stretch mark thru my tat, but it's not too bad really...a little touch up should do the trick...but damn, my humming bird is all fat and squished now cuz I lost my tummy and found a pooch! I guess there had to be somewhere for the babies to live while in eutero, but jeeze. I'ma hafta put that little bird on a no-sugar diet I guess. Hehe
