if I have a prescription for MS contin, is there anyway a urinalysis can tell the difference between morphine and heroin? I hear that if you wait 12 hours for the heroin to metabolize into morphine, there is no way to tell the difference. thanks for any help on this subject.
MS Contin is morphine.. so you could tell them that you take MS Contin.. and opiods have to metabolize into morphine (well.. non-synthetic ones) once they metabolize they give the the high.. I believe, or take it from someone else that lives in the science. but I know MS Contin is morphine.
I don't quite understand what you're saying. Do you mean that you do heroin and are wondering if you could just say you do MS Contin if you get tested? If so that will not work. MS Contin is simply morphine which obviously doesnt need to metabolize into anything else to get you high. Heroin metabolizes into Morphine and Codeine. And yes, even though Codeine metabolizes into Morphine, there will still be tracable amounts of codeine in your system. When testing for heroin they look for certain concentrations of both Morphine and Codeine. You might be able to pass it off if you're also taking something with codeine but it would be tricky to do.
