Should I wait out the few more months?

Well most of you I was going natural style for around 4 months with not much success and decided to stop. But now my hair is longer than ever (look in my gallery) and I really wanna start again. But two questions, my hair is kinda mullet like because the back is so long, should I trim that about an inch and wait untill around may for my hair to be extra long to start or should I jsut leave i and go ahead with it? OR should I jsut never try to dread my hair ever agin and move into a small hole beneath the dirt (phans?) and never come out?

I would probably wait it out a little, because if you dread it now, with the way your hair is shorter in the front and longer in the back (what you call mullet-like--haha) you're just going to have short little dreads in the front and longer ones in the back, and it'll probably look even more like a mullet. I'm personally not a fan of that look. So my advice would be to wait it out a little. Hair shrinks an incredible amount when you dread it, so a little more length would probably be good.

 

you hair isnt longer at the back, its just lower down on your head so it appears longer, if you leave it you will get a nivce natural layering thing going on, everyone who grown thei hair out has to go through the embarising "mullet" faze dont worry. Just let it go natural and forget about it

 

I like the look of shorter dreads in the front and longer in the back...Not SUPER longer, but...longer.

 

Hey, I dated a guy with a mullet, and you do not have a mullet! A mullet should be buzzed on top to accentuate the tail. You have very nice hair, not super uneven hair, at least from your sig.
