do what you can with what you have. you'll get more contamination without a pressure cooker but some of the jars should make it..

Do you really need a pressure cooker? Can you just wash all the jars and stuff like really really good, in some sort of acid or another...:p

no the important is not pasteurizing the jars...its the verm and brown rice flour. You need heat

yes you could but the thing is that no water has to come in the jars , so just a put a little bit of it like an inch and put a cover on. Make it like 2 hours maybe, and dont put the jars airtights, they could explode.

You should go to shroomery.org, they have all the info you need.

You have to pressure cook the jars, or else they will get contaminated and all of you time will be spent for nothing.

Believe me you want to learn everything you can, or else you will just waste supplies.

On Shroomery they have all sorts of techniques to grow them, and also a forum where you can ask questions and search for ones people have already answered.

Those people know what they're doing.

The PF Tek is a place to start:
    http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/23593

This is the first technique, and now there are many variations and different ways to go about it...you'll learn quickly don't worry.

Also, there are many spore vendors in the Shroomery Sponsors Forum, alot of times they offer deals for shroomery members.
You want a syringe of liquid spores, thats the best way to innoculate jars and get the process started.

    http://www.shroomery.org/forums/postlist.php/Cat/0/Board/Vendor

Here are some vendors a friend of a friend told me were good:
    http://www.spores101.com/psilocybe-spore-strains.html
    and
    http://www.ralphstersspores.com/index_files/Page398.html

It doesn't matter too much what strain you pick as they are all pretty similar, but many beginners go with B+, Treasure Coast, or Golden Teacher, any are good, trust :D

    Good luck with everything :)
