They were a manufactured band, but I still love em'.

 

Yeah and to think that Midge Ure of Ultravox auditioned to be lead singer lol

 

I prefer The Damned, although alot of people consider the DAmned to be a bit on the pantomime end of punk, quite a few of their albums had strong psychedelic influences, and they made one album as "Naz Nomad and the Nightmares", which looking back isnt as good as I first thought its still pretty good.

 

Yeah the Damned were well cool, always seem to get overlooked in favour of the Pistols and Clash for some reason

i think its coz the clash and the damned are more commercial. Of course the Jam and Buzzcocks are better!

But I like Siouxsie and The Banshees first few albums so what would I know!

Yeah The Prisoners are ok but all the other mod revival stuff ive heard is shit at best.But being a keyboard player I tend to be leniant on bands with keyboards in them...

I don't think Nevermind the bullocks here's the Sex Pistols is the best.

But, the Sex Pistols were awesome.

 

they were far from it. theyr music was the result of steve jones thrashing on the guitar not knowing what he was doing, with glenn matlock playing a great bass, and jonny just being jonny. they were a wonderful fusion of mistakes.
