its called a hypertrophic scar. nothing to panic about. stop cleaning it with that ever youre doing (cause it obviously isnt working). in the shower, just let hot water run over it. then once or twice a day apply a very small amount of vitamin E oil to it. this will soften up that scar tissue and allow your body to break it down. this isnt an immediate cure, it will take a couple of months, but it WILL go away. fear not.

Oh man I am so sorry you had that happen too. I had the same thing with one only one hole. After 9 months and following all kinds of suggestions I took it out. Now around 3 years later. I have a big lump on my ear I'm 23 and it sucks. My mother keeps asking me to go to the doc to get it removed, but I hate needles. I really had to get up the courage to get it done so I'm not in any hurry to get it cut off. It stands up off my ear a good ways I would say it's about the size of half a pencil eraser. Doesn't sound big but I have small ears. I'll see if I can get a pic loaded in the next day or two. And there is really nothing you can do once it's started to heal that way. Oh and it's the hole at the bottom that messed up on my ear. I will really try to put a pic up. Man this makes me think it's maybe the way they pierce industrals. yah know making the hole and then sliding the bar in that way I don't know I've played it over and over in my head and I wish I wouldn't have gotten it.

Keep using the sea salt soaks. Sea salt helps to heal wounds. Avoid using any special soap as it may contain chemicals that you should avoid putting on your piercing. The sea salt is like going in the ocean. The ocean is a healer. Don't touch it more than neccesary, and don't clean it with soap in the shower. Just run some water over it when you shower.
