I finally got around to making some lampwork dreadie beads. Thought I'd share the pics with you guys. :) If anyone is interested, drop me a line or check out my site. I have more made that are soaking in the kiln as I type. I welcome custom orders too.

Those are nice. What are the dimensions on them? (I looked on the site and couldn't seem to find that info.) Thanks.

Looks great!! I just saw your ebay auctions. Lovely fairy!! Did you make those on a mandrel? How did you get the hole so big?
    Good job!!

I have a large hole mandrel. The only thing that sucks about it is that you can only make one at a time, unless you have more than one mandrel. You can only buy it in singles, not a pack like the thinner bead mandrels.

Another way to make the holes in your beads larger without having the large hole mandrel is to dip your mandrels several times in the bead release. Let it dry, then dip it again for another layer. Repeat until you have a nice big fat end on it. Make sure it is even in size though, because if not your bead will have a wonky, uneven hole.

    :)

Yes, I do ship outside the US.

And Francie...sometimes wonky holes = sharp edges. Not what you want to put on your locks. :)
