once upon a time there was a young girl who met a wonderful older man. he was magical to her. they went to their own magic land together once and there she told him to wait for her, by a waterfall under a rainbow. and there he waited. the years went by and their hair grew longer. as he waited he plundered his mind in the magic of the land. his eyes slid down the rainbow many times and he heard many voices. then one day as she painted their magical land, he was watching the clouds go by. one cloud looked like a turtle, a giant sea turtle, and it was! it came nearer and nearer until it made a huge shadow over the waterfall, and then he was swooped up and carried off into the sky, riding the shell of the turtle. at this time, she was being weighed on by dark storm clouds, grey, hovering, and so full of acid rain she could almost reach out and feel and smell the sticky stench of the tortured moisture. he rode the turtle up into the stars and around the planets and heard many more friendly voices in languages he did not understand. time, space, perception, gravity, reasoning, colours, senses, all were absent in this place. only spirals, spirals, spirals! spiraling outward into the inconcievable distances beyond, beyond. suddenly the journey swirled through a tiny portal. i know not how such things are possible, but in this spaceless place, the giant turtle passed through a wormhole the size of, maybe the eye of a needle (but space did not exist) and lo! the turtle and the man emerged quite young and refreshed. the man awoke by the waterfall under the rainbow and thinking it might have been a dream, gazed into the stream. but his face was young, and just as beautiful as ever. then the girl returned onkly to find him unrecognisable. "where is my love?" she asked the young man by the waterfall. "i am he," the man replied. "it cannot be, you are not he." she stood back, surprised. "i promised to wait for you here by the waterfall under the rainbow since the day we discovered this magical land together and here i have been hence." then he told her of the turtle and his strange journey while the water in the stream revealed each scene as he spoke. she fell into his arms and they lived in the magical clean land in love for the rest of their days through dimensions and time that cannot be percieved, surrounded by love, colours, and voices of understanding.
