There has been some discussion about creating a sticky for Fairs seeking applications. If so, is the post above a good template, or did I forget something?
Where can I find a list/calendar of Craft Fairs/Festivals taking place in the Southern California? I have some interesting stuff that I would like to display and potentially sell at a kiosk/booth. Thanks for the information.
If any of you are near St. Louis, or want to travel this summer there is a 2 day festival in our lovely Tower Grove Park in South St. Louis called the Pagan Picnic. http://www.paganpicnic.org/ There are taking applications for vendors now. there are all kinds of vendors usually selling all kinds of stuff from homemade clothing to soaps and oils. It is great fun. The dates are: June 10th and 11th, 2006
crafters, this is the time to contact all those fairs and fests you WANT to do and inquire about booth size, power accesibility (sales STOP at dark unless you have lights or switch to glowing crap), # of tickets included with vendor pass, vendore camping, site security, etc
I'm currently looking into craft shows/farm markets in the Finger Lakes area, near Ithaca, or Skaneateles, NY.
I'm looking for some craft shows to enter in or around the Dallas area. So, if anyone know of any, please let me know. And thank you big time for any info. I'm having a hard time to find anything for around here. Blah!
This is a good site for finding indie craft shows: http://indiecraftshows.com to hall: I don't know about Dallas, but I do know that The Southern Girls Convention is coming up very soon in Houston. It's a weekend of feminist workshops & other activities, including a craft fair. They'll pretty much accept vendors right up to the last minute...from what I've heard they're very easy going. Stitch is a big indie craft fair put on by the Austin Craft Mafia...it happens in November in Austin. And if you're up for a bit of a drive, there is also ANTIGRAVITY's Alternative Media Expo in mid-August in New Orleans, LA. I'll be at that one for sure.
Um, this may be a weird point, but since the original thread festival happened in May, long past, does it still need to be a sticky? If there are upcoming craft shows, can't it just be a regular thread or under the Events And Festivals forum? Just a thought... Lots of stickys....
