Nope ... I tried skateboarding a few times, but I was horrible at it. I can't stick to somthing long enough to get good.
I never really progressed beyond "ok" at skating I muchos prefer bike riding...be that BMX, off road, freeride or any discipline...
i skateboard. i cant do tricks though. my board isn't for the kind of tricks that are done today.. and i'm too lazy to go spend a day out in the park trying to do the others. but i'm notorious at school for my skateboard and my hair.
I was a jock without the mock in that HS....come summer though my bro and I rebelled and towed each other thru the hallways and campus using a mini bike with a 3 1/2 Briggs&Stratton. There wasn't anyone around. It was all cool until I hit a little rock on the hallway riding my skateboard on the smooth concrete...dang the knee burn from smooth concrete, wearing short pants didn't help. Going about 20 mph was like water skiing holding onto about 20 feet of rope.
Yeah I used to skateboard about 2 years ago, skated for 2-3 years. Was pretty good, could do some tricks. But then I quit and people were like wtf?
i was a natural when i started in the fall but once winter came i lost all desire to practice it in the spring and summer
i've tried multiple times, but i guess i don't have good enough balance. i guess i'll just stick to watching other people do it
Actually, I have done that. In fact, that is me in the picture... Well, no... Not me. Never could do THAT (looks like a heelflip? Maybe a kick flip but judging by the position of his feet to the board, I would say heelflip). I used to skate off and off for several years, but I was REALLY shitty at it. I could ollie, do primo's, caspers, cavemans, and I did a couple pop-shoveits. However, that was after like 5 years of off and on skating... Yes, I was REALLY not too good at it. Most people get all that stuff in couple weeks, hahaha.
yeah i skated and was sponsored, but didnt like being sponsored so stopped for a while until my friends registered me in a comp without me knowing haha and i had to try and re-learn things in two minutes, but i actually suprised myself, you dont really lose much. my friends are still skating hard and filiming for videos and being sponsored by more and more well-known brands as time goes on, but i just like to skate mini ramps and bowls now as opposed to handrails ad stairs like i used to.
I still do somewhat. No good places to really skate around here anymore, back in cali though I would skate probally everyday. I guess I was ok but nothing worth getting any attention over. Congrats though bro, picking up a sponsor is pretty difficult. Peace
I wanted to learn how to skate so bad,but after i tried and i fell and i couldnt sit on a chair for a week,i decided thats it`s not my thing
I remember it used to be a huge fad. My friend let me try on his skateboard. Lol, I sucked. But, I personally felt I had alot of better things to do than spend a couple hours a day on that thing. When I was in middle school the whole "skater" thing was real big. What's the fad these days? Emo or something?
My fad is catnapping every 2 hours or so whenever I feel like it. Don't know if anybody else likes short naps as much as I do, so it may not be a fad.
