One way or another, the goverment still decides what you have to learn and what not, private or not, a school is a school.

BUT, here you can see the things that can make you indicate it faster,
and that's way more important then a fucking calculation.

School has never been really able to teach me things,
I already knew most things, and I still know way more then what I would get teached in school and what they tried to teach me.
How? I spent quite alot of time on the net instead of being with my nose in the goddamn books they call lecture.
Now I dont want to sound arrogant, but trust me, I'm not dumb, and i'm "smarter" then most "kids" that only had the school education if you understand what I mean.

I'm sorry, but kids should have no right to view SOCIAL webpages at school. Let them read all they want about hippies, alternate views or whatever. But i feel no need to allow kids to POST MESSAGES while at school.

if they are smart they can decide for themselves.
But if they are "educated", are they really deciding for themself or are they deciding for something they are made to believe?

Because there *is* a lot of good information and it is fun. Probably the same reason everyone else does.

Except there is no mention on the website, as far as i can tell, about this very topic.

This is patently untrue. A young person reading about drugs is not going to cause that young person to, automatically want to use drugs. A lot of what is done on the marijuana and Psychadelics Forums is Harm Reduction, which does more good than pretending drugs don't exist, or beleiving that even hearing about then will turn children into raving crack heads. When young people (or older ones, if that's the case) have accurate unbiased information about drugs, only then can they make intelligent rational decisions about whether or not to use these drugs, or under what situations they might to might not do so. Reading good info is better than the scary pap that kids are having forced down in programs like DARE (which, according to many studies, actually increases drug use, and most of that use is not well thought out, as most of these kids are going on untrue assumptions.) Only when you have the truth about something like drugs can you make intelligent decisions. The Psycedelics Forum should be required reading in all "Health" classes in High School and Middle School, IMO.

It is similar to the twisted logic that (withouth proof) says that letting young people know details about sex and birth control will "cause" them to have sex. In fact, the opposite is true, and it fhey DO decide to have sex, the information will help them avoid pregnancy and STDs, ignoring the facts will only cause pregnancy and STDs, as will not allowing young people access to TRUE drug information.

Yes it's obvious that goverments want more sight into the internet.

The dutch goverment is according to my information planning to let all holland based Internet Providers to register all server activity, all single packet has to be stored into a log, emails have to be saved (that costs a damn load of disk space by the way), all downloads are logged, etc.
And then you have to store that info for atleast one year.

Same goes for mobile phone company's,
all conversation will be recorded and stored for atleast 6 months.
They wont listen to them ofcourse unless they have a reason,
but who says nobody is interested in listening to a certain conversation?

 

This is how a country can turn into a police state.

 

When amnesty international add 'America' or 'UK' or even 'Holland' to their list. Thats the time to start worrying.
