"Enjoy every sandwich:the songs of warren zevon"- (title taken from a remark made by Zevon in his final public appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman)- has been coordinated and produced by Warren's son Jordan and long time collaborator Jorge Calderon. The line up so far includes- Adam Sandler (yes, adam sandler)- "Werewolves of London" Don Henley- Searching for a Heart The Pixies- Ain't that pretty at all Jordan Zevon and Jakob Dylan- Studebaker Billy Bob Thornton- The Wind Pete Yorn- Splendid Isolation Bob Dylan- Mutineer Bruce Springsteen- My ride's here Ry Cooder and David Lindley- Monkey wash\Donkey rinse Jackson Browne- Poor, poor, pitiful me Studebaker and The Wind are songs Zevon wrote during his illness but was unable to record. The album is due to be released in late October in America, so probably next year in the UK.
