Anyone know what they are? I get them all the time and they're annoying because they last for days, they make my nose turn red and shiny, and my whole nose is sore. Then they go.

I would like to look up a cure on the Internet, but I don't even know what they're called!

stop eating sugar or food with high fat, drink plenty of non fluoridated water (ie not tap water) and twice a day add a few drops of peppermint oil to the water. stay away from macdonalds and the like.

Oops, I made this thread a month ago and forgot about it... sorry!

I only eat a small amount of sugar, although I do have honey every day. The only high-fat food I eat is chocolate and butter. I don't think I could cope without butter, and chocolate is eaten in moderation. I only drink filtered water, but I'll try the peppermint oil... what does that do?

Haha! I'm health-conscious. Macdonalds is the last place I'd eat! :) (I won't eat in any restaurant unless I know every ingredient is organic and natural, plus I don't eat wheat or beef!)

the peppermint seems to act as a cleanser for your body if used one way and a disenfectant if used another.

when i was a kid i had to work for Mcdonalds needless to say i saw many eye opening practices. before working there, i hardly ate there - i couldn't afford to!! the long term staff were covered head to toe in angry, laden pustules. in the changing room one poor fellow looked like a spotted leopard as he donned the work garb. the food was laden with a thick grease that covered most surfaces, with a hint of pickle?? no-one washed their hands and whilst bending down one night i caught sight of a beefburger slap on the tile floor (about two feet from my head) the next thing that followed was a large foot that pummelled the burger further into the grout. to my amazement the foot was followed by by a spatula that gracefully scooped the contents back onto the griddle and later into the mouth of a grateful customer.
