    - any North American product that reaches you in Europe.
(obviously not locally or regionally produced)
-practically everything that is manufactured in China
(which is sad, because I remember a time when Chinese manufactured products
would sell only to other Chinese people living in N. America.)
Now of course a Chinese worker represents the bottom of the barrel.
Their wages will always be lower than anywhere else in the industrialized world.

You might consider researching how many common products are still made regionally or locally in the UK - Western Europe.
Many consumers sort of automatically assume that all the global culprits are North American (and forget some other major players - Korea, Japan, W. Europe.)

Depends on the product, too. If you buy a bottle of imported whiskey from the US - that's a product that was made all in one location by workers that aren't necessarily exploited.
On the other hand, many car manufacturers are skipping around the globe. A car could have parts from many different countries - a truly international affair.

Another thing to consider is out-of-season food. If you find strawberries in January - they obviously come from a warm climate.
It gets a little trickly - determining just which food products are actual cash crops grown on land expropriated from local peasants.

Clothing is an easy one - most any exclusive designer label (and even the cheaper "knock-offs")....are bound to be sweatshopped, more often than not.
I'd love to see the day when designer clothes are shunned en masse just for that reason...Designers and their "support staff" are slimy leeches as far as I'm concerned.
The fact that high school kids are arriving at school wearing $2500 worth of clothes is obscene.
Most of your franchised fast food is global in its origin.
And any giant box store that's migrated in (Wal*Mart, obviously.)

So you can see Global players aren't just high-profile brands that sell at ridiculous prices. The easiest way to avoid them all is to buy local.
    hope this helps......
