Does anyone have any idea when they are planning to make Salvia illegal? I was planning on trying it for the first time on the ol' 18th birthday in July and this is the first I've heard of a ban on Salvia. Also, are we looking at state laws or a federal law?

My mom found my bong I have (just for salvia, I'm not a weed fan) and I had to go through a long ass process to get it back. I had to explain it was legal, what it did, it was legal, it doesn't last long, it's legal and last of all it's legal. Then she told me to give it to my depressed brother to chill him out haha, then I offered her a hit but she declined, so I smoked it with some friends in front of her lol. It's going to be fun trying to explain "It was legal" haha.

p.s. I'm watching something on t.v. about some brain-washing conspiracy and it went into usuage of LSD-25 on random people, cool shit... no reason to put this, but it's a good watch

Just start your garden now, and make your own 20x extracts :).

As far as the U.S. Goes :

New York is trying to pass a law that would fine sellers.

New Jersey is trying to ban it.

The plant and Sally A are controlled in Missouri. Sorry guys. I don't know the details, but a bill was passed.

Illinois is trying to control SD, but not Sally A. Hasn't passed yet that I know of.

2 bills were introduced in Oregon, both busted. Oregon, you're still good.

Tennessee passed a law making it illegal to possess it if it's intended for human consumption... same with-

Louisiana made it illegal to possess or sell any hallucinogenic drugs that were intended for human consumption. Big deal here, prison time, money, the whole shebang. Guess that's why it's sold with a big label NOT INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

These guys are idiots. If they ban salvia, I think a lot of people would just move onto LSD or Shrooms... Well some do anyway, but you know what I mean. Salvia is safe and has no known health risks, im excited to delve into the depths of it

LSD and shrooms don't have any known physical health risks either. All hallucinogens have mental health implications - salvia included.

I was referring more to the length of the trip. I have read a few horror stories about people blacking out on salvia and doing stupid things... some I don't want to draw any more attention to than necessary. When the trip lasts 8< hours instead of 15> minutes, the chances of a bad trip with bad consequences are far greater, in my opinion.

I'd say just to be sure buy some salvia now and just stash it away somewhere, I'm not sure if it looses potency over time but if it deos it deos so really really slowly, I found some X10 I had spilled into my bedside locker there last week and it was as strong as when I did it when I bought it over a year ago, and that was salvia just sitting in the open locker for a year, not even kept in a container.
