There are a million other organizations to volunteer with ... I saw you mentioned the peace corps ... that's another good one to look into.

 

the peace corp is a two year commitment that you need a college degree for.

but i'll look into those two. i have a bunch i've found but i havent looked specifically for thailand, so i'll let you know.
