hey im new and I just wanna say this site is awsom. Before I found this place I felt like the only hippie around because some of the people where I live are a bit less than accepting. So I just wanted to say hey.

i like this place cos you learn so much stuff about everything, and theres always people to correct you when you post shit that is wrong/stupid.

 

Yeah, but usually they don't just correct you.
Usually they're trying to break your spirit and make you feel like less than shit.

 

There are some hippies at my school

Just picking up on the conversation, my school houses a small hippie community. Consisting of my friends. Sadly, compared to the huge chav population our hippiness is dwarfed and sat on.

I'm the only hippy in my school as well, which is annoying as I live near Colchester (a British hippy mecca ever since the 60s. It's one of the only places left that seems to have hippy shops) and could've gone to Colchester's school.

 

I've posted in this forum some already, but I guess I'll post in the intro thread anyway.
