A lot. I have 2 good friends who used to be dope addicts. One of them had a $200/ day habit. My ex, who was also using was doing about 10 bags a day, which was $100. But it really depends whether you are copping it yourself (Super bad idea) or if you are getting it from a runner (Again, Super bad idea). Uggh..it's such a scary addiction. The money is the least of the problems..
    Please be careful..

legal problems, losing your connection (e.g. dealer goes to jail), unknown purity of smack possibly causing overdosage and many others.

being arrested, getting kicked out of the band cause you're too fucked up on smack all the time (look at guns and roses), and accidental overdosage not to mention destroying the dopamine receptors in your brain which will never come back. and how does this even apply to anyone here?

Read Up and Down With The Rolling Stones. It goes into great detail about Keith Richards addiction. Even rich rock stars get their connection cut off. Even rich rock stars go through with drawal, sometimes dealers get busted and there just isn't any stuff around. Even rich rock stars get busted.

I've known several long term addicts who worked and supported themselves with a job. when the habit got to expensive, they'd take the california cure- get thrown in jail where they wean you off.
when they got out, they'd started over at a more reasonable amount.

so dinero is the main problem, beside addiction.
