I thought I graduated from college

What I found out is that I joined an elite club called "The Unemployed" and became a shiftless negro.

Dammit!!!! Where is my dream job already?

my resume must suck. iits been a whole week. my friendds (who got worse grades) are flying to interviiews all over the counntry

 

it can take some time, don't get discouraged, have you sent a lot out?

2 engineering job fairs (one in atlanta & one in pittsbuurg)

and about thirty-forty online

everybody wants experience, that 3.7 i slaved for doesn't mean shit

 

government jobs? nah, never thouught about it. gimme a site.

my gripe that i'm running out of time. another month or so and i won't be able to hide my pregnancy.

hope that's near where you live. look at counties and cities and federal sites. My mom is an engineer for the goverment. they pay the best, have the least work load and usually tax exempt daycare. Good luck!!!!!!

I was simply suggesting to make good use of your interpersonal relationship skills

 

I guess they forgot to tell you that you have to start at the bottom all over again and work 3-12 years to get that dream job.

I walked away from the USAF 11 years ago this past March and went to work cleaning drains for Roto Rooter. I now have my dream job rehabilitating homes for the oppressed but it took time, a lot of work and more than a few unemployment checkes to get here. Patience, Miss F. You'll get there.

And if all else fails, with your intimidation skills, you could be a corrections officer. Pays pretty good and you get to bust heads.

Now THAT'S sexy...

It appears from this thread you went and got an engineering degree in what specialty?


Grades are great but did your freinds also shadow and have prior volunteer ect experience in the related field or somebody to BS for them to get an edge.

Goverment is great but depending on the type of engineer private sector is the best for high cash but you had better have natural talent in like chemistry, ect for them kiss your ass jobs.

Alot of people come out of college like that and find the world has little to offer but I am sure you will find something.

If I know the field of study you had maybe could send you in some directions, I have freinds in some nice places in Washington State.
