I need pics and patterns of hippie hats(dread tams, cab hats, those floppy hats all the rockstars wore) for inspiration and to give myself something to make. Any suggestions/contributions are appreciated.

How strange.. I just came back to this forum to see some dread tams made by you 'cause I'm knitting now a hat and worry about knitting in the right way I mean how to make it larger and so on.. and it turned out that here's the same thread opened yeasterday.. hah.. cool thanks redfraggle for links
i've knit/crocheted a few 'retro' looking hats... no pics sorry.... but are easy to find. Why not improvise? I have a couple basic hat patterns that I've fudged around with based on pics I've seen in old magazines.
