I find excersizing during my period helps alot too. I used to get debilitataing cramps where I couldn't get out of bed. Now when I'm not tree-planting I lug a huge backpack around the world. Low and behold hardly any more cramps. When its a matter of work I can't just take days off when I'm bleeding so I work through it and it helps alot alot.
Im not sure that adhesions are very common, I know several women with endo but I have yet to meet any with adhesions. Sorry mamaboogie, that doesn't sound like much fun at all.....surgeries are so costly in the states too. I haven't even tried evening primrose myself I just heard it works. Too bad meat has all that estrogen, cause tofu does too. I havent eaten meat for about seven years but I sure do eat alot of tofu. Whats a girl to do? Eat beans and nuts I spose....

Organic and caffeine free. it contains ginger root, fennel seed, cinnamon bark, chamomile, raspberry leaf, anise seed, dong quai, chaste tree berry, juniper berry, parsley, and saffron stamen.

Everything about my period changed after my 2nd child. longer, much heavier periods with more severe cramps.

you may infact be suffering from endodemetriosis... if the pain is so bad thats its nauseating.... feels nothing like a belly ache but actual pain like somthing is squeezing your insides or punching for that matter you should have a gyno check it out.... i have it but no surgery for me... a low hormone birth controll helps big time!

over 80% of women who experience menstrual cramps do indeed have endo. If there are any women in your family with endo, your chances of having it go drastically higher than that. It's a fact. If you have it and do not do anything about it, it will get worse. BCP can actually make the endo worse while temporarily helping to ease some of the symptoms at the same time, because endo feeds off estrogen. It's not something to mess around with.
