Adblock for Opera Browser

    I followed the directions up until this part

    ; Replace the paths below with the correct paths to OperaAdBlock.exe AND the path to your filter.ini file

    Item, "Add to Block List" = Copy image address & Execute program,"C:\Program Files\OperaTools\OperaAdBlock.exe", "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Opera\Opera8\profile\filter.ini"



    Nowhere does it tell me WHAT I replace the paths with. It says I have to do it in 3 different places in that folder. Any help?

    It's easier just to edit your Windows hosts file. I've done that and I rarely see ads now. There are several sites that have their own hosts file which you can simply download and then replace your existing one in windows. Here's one of the best http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm Instructions for how to replace your hosts file are included on the site
