What you need to do, asap, is read a grow book. It's the same advice every experienced grower will give you.
Right you are Ranger! There is no ASAP in marijuana growing, It's more like......ok I'll say it..... Growing Marijuana Is like watching grass grow,or maybe watching paint dry. So, Yoe you'll probly have time to read several books.
Dawg you're just pulling info from several different situations, ergo. Males are good for only two things; servicing females, and adding to the honey oil supply. cutting off male buds refers to finding them on a known female (hermaphrodite), if you cut them off (supposedly) the female buds on the rest of the plant may or may not turn out sensimilla depending on how soon male was removed. This doesn't mean more males won't show up.
Heres a idea, get them into 6 inch pots so they have room to grow and you wont need to transplant. Also think about getting food for it, maybe a 20-15-15, something with higher Nitrogen then Phosphate and Calcium.
yoe, one doesn't castrate a male plant! What ya do is you take one finger and apply pressure to it's mouth (so it won't wake up the neighborhood when it screams) take the other hand and grip the male plant near the soil and firmly lift until the Male Plant is completely out of the soil, then very carefully drop into nearest trash can....... and your done.
Blimey! buff your rite that is an another use for males, I usually add them to the trim for honey oil.
Don't know about acids, I grow with foxfarm ocean forest dirt, and foxfarms' veg and flower nutes when called for, that's all, I pluck a few leaves here n there to let light in. Other than that I just sit back and watch the 'grass' grow, it's a tough job but somebody has to do it !
Don't add any fertiliser especially the one you mentioned. Any general purpose compost has more than enough fertiliser for nearly your whole grow period. Adding to much fertiliser is the most commomn mistake growers make. You will burn the plants i.e brown spots on the leaves or kill them if you continue to overfertilise. If you must give them something try a weak solution of Maxicrop seaweed to help root formation and nutrient uptake. Marijuana is not an acid loving plant. ph should be around 6.5.
