Queensday 2006 TDDKK cruises kicked ass!!!

Hey there Mike and Nancy....I've signed on as johnny-joe.....a name given to me me by "a bollocks" from Channels. I'll be keeping a close watch on Hip Forums this year and plan to meet a lot more people.....great time we had with you in Amsterdam....next year you can count us in for the Canal Cruise for Queen's Day.

Good morning fellow Queen's Day partyboaters!!! Man, that was one of the most memorable days of my life!!! What a KICK ASS afternoon!! Talk about your adult Disneyland!!

Thanks for letting 3 travellers from Texas join the group. We can't wait to become "regulars" on the boat. When we finally joined up with koopa at the boat dock around 2:00, somebody asked me, "so, how long you been in the city?" We he found out that we had been in Amsterdam all of 20 minutes and the middle of Queen's Day afternoon was our first view of the city, he commented that it must be a bizarre sight to be seeing for the first time. No shit!! Our jaws were sore from grinning so much. What a great afternoon on the way back to Houston. Who would have thought?????

Anyway, everybody was great on the boat. A bunch of really nice folks, great weather, a boat on the canals on Queen's Day, and some good smokes......hey, does it get any better??!!??

those pics are great! EVERYONE WAS GREAT! I've yet to put away my orange wig with the horns..... I'm just not ready. I think everyone should come up to Maine sometime this summer and we can rent a boat - put on our piggy shirts and spend a day on the water doing what we do best! Or we can make like our backyard is Vondelpark! Something at least so I can wear my wig again and the jester hats can come back out of hiding. I will never wear orange without grinnin' ear to ear ever again.

started working in a new dept. this week and am swamped, sorry!

 

WOW, after a few days of my life and a couple of hundred dollars I've finally developed the 10 rolls of panoramic/larger size film, downloaded then uploaded then tagged and titled and sorted and it's finally done. Everyone owes me a beer.....no make that 2 beers each next year!!!! LOL I've placed the pics in a separate folder labled panoramic. click on the sizes button to get the real size of the pics. We got some great shots and everyone has permission to download from my photo site. I will send discs to the one's who requested and supplied addresses. Remember snappy comments always welcome.

Koopa: thanks for the reply, now I can put the right descriptions on the photo's. really time consuming process with these pics. 1 roll from cologne didn't make the cut but will be on the disc's.

mikey is alive and well in FL......
his dept left a pretty pile of work for him during vaca and he is playing catch up as per him.
