Ahhh, I'm about to go to bed and it just started thundering! I LOVE falling asleep to the sound of thunder. Not loud cracks, just gentle rolling booms...
I love em'. The more violent they are the better. I lived in Florida for about 4 months a couple years ago and the daily T-storms in the summer down there were probably the only thing I liked about the place.
It's thundering here as well.. There was a power outage here last night for about 7 1/2 hours or so.. I'll be surprised if the power doesn't go out again, it did once already and came back on.
there are no thunderstorms here. i think i've seen two lightening strikes the whole time i've lived on the island now, back in onterrible, we had some crazy thunderboomers. i remember sitting in the cottage, looking out at lake huron, with the floor vibrating under my feet from the last strike. i loved it. fire dancing across the sky! energy everywhere... ::sigh::
Ahh...well the sky opened up early this morning. It was raining so loud it woke me up...then I was confused. I guess being half asleep not really knowing what a sound is. Well, off to work...
ooooo, thunderstorms. i like to just sit and watch them. a few years ago we had thundersnow once. that was really cool.
well i'm glad there wasn't any lightning here or i would have had to have turned this thing off, but the rain was VERY welcome. it can do that every other week for the rest of the summer as far as i'm concerned. there ARE friendly dieties, or whatever you wanta call them many happy huggs to our nontangable friends =^^= .../\...
i love thunderstorms and actually have a cd of storms in various places. i listen to it when i need to relax or go to sleep. however, you can't drag me outside during one, i'll DIE. twice i've had lightning strike less than 10 feet from me, i've developed the feeling that god is out to get me.
I like them when they are severe, wicked lightning, loud crashes, tornados running around everywhere, yeeeee, haaaaaa!
