I lost my fave hat at Summer Camp last year. I really miss it and I can't seem to find one anywhere except maybe some wholesale place I found on the net. It was made of beige crochet thread with an open type weave and kinda poofy but not as much as an apple jack hat. The brim was very small, just enough to shade the sun and about half as wide as a baseball cap. It had a small cord type elastic around the bottom. It was so airy and didn't make your head sweat. Served as a great hair net when turned backwards while riding in the car. I bought it at a festival, maybe the 1st Bonaroo when it was like 100+ degrees outside and I paid eight dollars for it. Do any of you crochet mamas make anything like what I described and maybe can direct me to one of your sites you sell on? Would pay twice or more for one like it. Any help at all is much appreciated. Thanks!! Luv n Peace!!
Hey do you have any pics of it, or could you point me to a website with a photo of a hat similar to the one you are describing?
Yes, it is on the site www.ihomewholesale.com item A106. It had a brim not as wide tho. Other than that it's basically the same. Thanks for any help!!
looks like a beanie with a brim. that wouldn't be too hard for someone who knows how to make a good brim (which i don't)
Not sure if you are talkin bout the site I listed or hippiejessica. Mine is under Cap and Hat...Crochet hat.
Looks like it could be easy to make! Was your hat made of cotton or hemp? And what color was it? And You said there was elastic on the back? Let me know, I may be able to re-create this for you! It doesn't seem too complicated!I always like a challenge!
