    In Exodus it talks about the City of Ramses and bricks of Clay and Straw...I was watching a show on NGC(National Geographic) They actully found the City of Ramses...Made of clay and starw. The show later and went on and explained how all the plauges could of happened and what each one meant... Also talking about how the order of the plauges in the bible is actully very logical. The show is called Curses of Ancient Egypt. Very intresting show...

    Basicly the "blood red river" was actully something the egyptians had to worry about..It wasn't actully blood though the clay(i think they said) turned it red and killed everything in it and made it so you couldn't drink it

    Flood = Frogs
    Flood = Lice (could be translated into misqoutios)
    etc etc... Not sure why I even posted this lol. But if you ever get a chance to watch it it is pretty cool...

    Well the whole Prophecy thing really dosen't apply to the Plauges now does it? :p Seeing how...Its not prophecy and all:rolleyes:. Basicly they belived G-D is in control so they will give credit to who they see fit. I don't see how your post really adds anything to the topic other then your disbleif in the Bible and distaste for the Middle Eastren G-d. Please I never mentioned G-d or Prophecy. I wrote it the best I could to keep the historical aspects of the OT and not the Religous. Please do the same.

    i think i have watched either the same show or a very similar show on a documentary channel over here. which basically explained the curses, using a very large, active volcano very near egypt to blame for these 'curses', it explained the frogs, dead cattle, dark sky etc, i found the programme highly interesting

    Thats cool, I really enjoy watching shows like that. Biblical in nature or not...I suppose thats why I'm starting school to become a History Major(maybe beyond??) Who knows That may change by time i get in my JR year.

    Anyhoo. One of the things I thought was intresting was the Dark Sky part. A mix between a heavy dust storm and and all the black ashy type stuff that resulted from the flood and etc etc
