You guys I have a problem. I have a super itchy scalp. I have a lot of dendruff, so I made an oilcure last night (putting lots of olive oil on your sculp, let it sit there over night, wash it out in the morning) And all the oil was totally absorbed by hair and scalp. The itch is better, but not gone. I have dreads now since about 7 years, and never had such a thing. And I am pretty sure, I don't have bugs. Any recomendations?

all the oil washed out? wow.

Knotty boy makes an itch spray. i haven't tried it. I get the itches too, and it helps if i wash it more.

Have you tried Tea Tree Oil? That seems to do the trick for me.

unfortunately, the knottyboy stuff isn't really an option cuz the shipping costs are kinda high, and I am broke.

I read about the teatree stuff today, and I already ordered some! I also tried a new soap that I made myself, to wash out the oil from last night, and all the dandruffystuff seems to be gone. my hair is really soft, and there's basically no itch left.

tea tree oil, mixed with some water and some peppermint oil. definitely use peppermint oil! if you're up to it, add some apple cider vinegar (or any kind really) and leave it on overnight. it'll smell funky, but it does WONDERS - and just in case you might have bugs, it'll help with that too.
