Does it work? Can it work? Has anyone here done it. I really want to quit smoking but I am having a very hard time with it. Any help would be appreciative.

I don't have long-term experience with this. I smoked a lot for about 5, 6 months, and then I stopped. It's a lot easier when you aren't around people who smoke, obviously, and I suggest trying to find people to hang out with who don't smoke.
are you planning to quit all at once, or just lessen the amount of smokes day by day?
Changes like this need a big lifestyle change as well. I suggest changing your room around, making things simpler around you while you change yoru habits.
Meditating will help you. But remember you can do it without meditating, if you decide to.

Anything you focus on in a meditative state gains momentum for manifestation.
I have heard of a technique called yoga nidra that is like self hypnosis. However I find it more rewarding to contemplate why choices are made. Bring light to the beginning of why you started and continue to smoke if you want to be able to consciously stop. Be clear with yourself. Anything you choose make sacred.
