who is your favorite indie band?

how do you define 'indie'?

technically Mindless Self Indulgence are indie...

I´m also unsure about what this label means, I´ve had arguments about it with many people. I think its a completely useless label, like ¨alternative¨ was in the early 90´s. But, based on the way I´ve heard groups colloquially labeled, I´m going to say Guided by Voices.

I have a hard time deciding on definitive favorites... favorite album, favorite song. Just too many.

But I'd have to say that the Pixies are my favorite "indie" band.

I'm not to sure what qualifies as "Indie" but I really like The Early November.

At The Drive-in is an awesome band as well.

 

I like RiloKiley, and Snow Patrol, I don't know if they're "technically" Indie though

 

The Stone Roses. Check them out people because they're miles better than any1 who has already been named on here.
