my duct tape suit

My school gave out entries for scholarships if you came to the prom in a suit/tux made of duck tape.

If you don't mind, i might steal that idea ...

I'd definetely wear that or kilt at my prom which is going to be in a year

 

meh. prom is something that only comes once (well, alright, i'm going to my fourth senior prom this year). you might as well do it right.

out of curiousity, how many rolls of duct tape in that suit? and was it really sweaty to wear all eve?

 

rightious i remember someone making one of those for halloween once, their classy.

 

It took about 3-4 of those great big huge rolls...economy ones (H)...

I started off as an amature with more rugged ones and such... the suit was crinkly there and so it looks different in different areas.... If I could do it over again it would look SO much better...



It was absolutely horrible to wear... it's starting to get really hot here.... I almost tied it tight and wore a tie but as you can see I was smart and went with the open chest ventilation system... thank god....

It was still unbearable....and walking was stiff and awkward....

By the end it started breaking because my sweat was decomposing the stickyness.....

Dont get me wrong it was COMplEteLY worth it.... no regrets at all



When I took off my pants I noticed that my socks were drenched and there were huge torrents of sweat running down each leg.... .great weight loss idea I suppose...

 

I love the suit, but this thread is disturbing me.

Is it ENTIRELY duct tape, or did you cheat and use something else? Like....cardboard and thread and junk?
