Beer is VERY healthy in moderation. Not the mass-produced shit, but the craft-brewed stuff. Any beer that is heavily hopped is good for you, as long as you don't overdo it.

hey rat, what all about beer can be good for you? my understanding was most of the best stuff for you in it was the yeast, and therefore that the most nutritious beers were things that often had yeast sediments and whatnot in the bottle, such as chimay.

i figured hops were probably good for you, too, but wonder what specific positives they have other than assisting the alcohol in relaxing and slightly sedating the drinker.

fermented foods are good for the gut, and technically raw unpasturized beers and wines fall into the fermented food category.

you've heard about yogurt, probiotics and that sort of thing probably? well, this is the same idea.
