And anyway I wanna learn english better of course But its hard without an agency(right word?)..well,on 1side I'd like to go there without certainties, and, once there,to look for a job..a place to live etc...but I dont know..and Im alone too..no one friend of mine wanna leave in this way Well..this post is without meaning but any reply will be appreciated
London is a pretty cool city, you'll certainly feel very comfortable as you'll be able to meet people from all nationalities. I take it by agency you mean some sort of english school? well, if that's the case, well, if you think your english is very basic and wish to have a better command of the grammar and more vocabulary, you can go for this option, but if you think you have a good command of the language which would help you get a job and sort out your accommodation without a problem, you could do just fine without it. It's only a matter of trying to get into the english culture by talking to people, ideally finding friends who you must speak in english to (you'll come accross loads of italians in london...avoid them if you want to learn english) I know lots of people like you, who've come here looking for something different and more exciting...most of them are still here and love London as much as they'd love their own native cities, including myself.
With 'agency' I meant people whom have a centre there and help you to find a job and an accomodation, otherwise you should do it by yourself, you know,to go to the job centre etc.Of course they want to be paid for this. I think I could suceed ever without them..but I don't know how hard finding a job is,especially if you dont speak english very well
but mostly they are East European, In fact I heard a rumour that London is applying for EU status soon (ok ok it was only a joke - ok?) here is a very valuable tip: try to get a job in medical recruitment - where you phone freelance doctors with details of hospital jobs they are qualified for. the NHS employs many from other EU countries and your skills in languages would be welcomed - they tend to overlook the faults in your English because medical recruiters would need your Italian skills. The medical recruiters are agencies that negotiate between the doctor and the NHS
