Skye, just a few minutes ago, reached up, took a hold of the couch (for balance), and proceeded to pull himself to his feet, by himself. After he giggled a little in happiness, he proceeded to walk down almost the entire length of the couch, by himself!
It's good and bad at the same time, I am happy. It was just so much easier when he would just sit and play with his toys. Really though, I'm excited, I keep thinking about the fun he'll have camping in about a week or so, barefoot in the sand. It's just that he's growing up so quickly .
i think i have a hellion on my hands. no sooner than you set her somewhere she's halfway across the room, rolling for all she's worth. i had her propped up on the couch, she was perfectly content for about 10 seconds and decided she wanted down. i caught her by the ankle. she got mad, so i set her on the floor and watc hed her roll. i don't think she's gonna crawl at all. i think she's just gonna roll and elbow walk, then get up one day and start running.
Cute!!!! I have taken crawling babies camping. I LOVE the crawling age, but not while camping. They don't want to be held, or in the sling, they want to CRAWL and pull up on things and eat twigs and pine cones and bugs and mud. One of the worst camping trips I ever had was when Moon was about 10 months old. Ugh. All I did was take stuff out of her mouth and spent a good part of my time at the laundermat. It was about this time of year, too. And one day it got so cold Moon started to turn BLUE. I put her on my breast and under my shirt to warm her up. But I had had enough of camping by that time. I told Bear we HAD to get a hotel room, so she would have a floor and furniture. We did it I hope you guys have a better time.
He should be. It's a lot of work to cruise like that. What a doll that baby is. (Yours, too, kirsten. )
thanks need to get some new pics up soon....but my sister still hasn't replaced the camera she smashed, so we don't have any new ones yet, but I'm gunna pick up a disposable camera today. we're kinda sad cuz we were taking pics of every month and putting them in an album for her, and now there's her 6ht and 7th months gone..... those are some of the funnest, too...... sorry, didn't mean to bring down the party here.......
