Well, my friend got an apartment, and he's a kinda weird kid...he likes to just do whatever and he's hard to explain...so he was like, "Yeah, I'm just gonna plant a seed in a cup on my porch, let it grow a couple inches, and then kill it." (Just for the hell of it he's saying...because he doesn't want it to be seen)

So anyway, the point is, I suggest Lowryder to him incase he wanted to grow fully

Do you think he could do this on an apartment balcony?

His balcony isn't visible by anyone, and he's on the top so when the sun is high in the sky, he's getting all of it...it's just a matter of, do you think it would be sufficient enough? Obviousl he's not concerned with yielding much...He just wants it as more of a novelty item than anything, what do you think?

well, if it gets around 15h or so sun throughout the day should be ok. but youll need big container, soil ph measurer etc- alot of hassle for novelty although worth it if for personal use. but remeber if u get guests youll need to hide it, and there will be a strong smell-especially when budding so as i sead ALOT of hassle

PH measurer my ass...I've grown pot outdoors plenty of times without that haha

But yeah, it's not much of a hassle though...lowryder doesn't need a big container...

Do you know which strain I'm talking about?

And 15 hours of sunlight is pretty much impossible even if you're growing in the middle of a wide open field...seeing as sunrise and sunset is around 15 hours...On the longest day of the year. So if everyday is the longest day of the year, and everyone grows without any shaded areas...people can grow pot outdoors? And I live closer to the equator, meaning my longest day is longer than most people's longest day...so you're saying it's impossible to grow pot in places that get 12 hours of sunlight a day?

I have a plant growing on my balcony, it probaly gets about 5-6 hours of direct sunlight and is growing fine....It probaly wont be the best buds since i dont do anything to it, i let nature water, feed, and light it. I planted it about a month ago and its about 9 inches tall, but we have had lots and lots of rain, not much sunshine though, that sun will come when it is flowering hopefully or sooner would be great.
