Anyone really dress like a hippie?

I don't need people to justify that I'm smart.

 

Just for the record...you're an asshole...but you have A FEW TIMES known what you were talking about.

Consider that a compliment...because that's probably the best you'll ever get from me.

 

Ahem.... on a lighter note.... People always TELL me I dress like a hippie. Don't have any pictures handy right now, but I'm almost always wearing patchwork. On the rare occasion that I'm not donning a dress or patchy top I'll be wearing a batik T-Shirt. That's all I even have. I don't own even one article of commercially produced clothing (except underwear and socks ).

I don't think about it that much. I mean, I make patchys, so wearing them around is like free advertising. And yes, I do advertise as "hip" clothing, but.... I don't really know how else to categorize it...

 

Yes I do sometimes. I like that style and it's comfortable.

Cool. I like to dress that way. (When we have free dress) I like to distinguish myself from the crowd. I hate generic and brand-name clothing and the thought of looking like everyone else. I like to express my love for that time, and it's one way I do it. I am totally against make-up. People can be beautiful without it, and besides, beauty comes form the inside.

 

Hippie dresses can be used to fan a fire too.
