    Hi evryone!!

I am a new member to this forum and am doing my first grow with aeroponics....my girls are currently just over a week into flowering. I have attached a pic to check them out. as of right now i have 3 females growing in the aero kit and 3 females growing in soil. I was very surprised that i achieved 6/6 female plants my first grow. All but 1 of the plants are in LST, the one on the very left was topped. any input is greatly appreciated!!

I am using a 400watt MH/HPS switchable ballast with the HPS currently in use and i also have a 170watt HPS. I also have the aero on a cycle timer, 5minutes on 7minutes off, and 2 fans to circulate air around the room.

Have you noticed any difference in the speed they are growing between the plants in soil and the plants in the aeroponic.

oh yea!!! the plants in soil are about 2 weeks older and have skinnier stems and showed sex later than the aero. I'm pretty sure the yield will be more, wont know for sure until i harvest...ill be sure to let you know!! the pic u r seeing is a couple weeks old, the plants are much bigger, all are females (6/6), and all have started to bud.

i never knew they matured faster and they may not mature faster in aero but this crop did, could have been the seeds though. when i say mature i am talkin about showing sex

It may be the seeds mine varied with some seeds showing sex up to 5 days earlier than others. But if there growing faster in the aeroponic setup they will show earlier. Will be interesting to see if your aeroponics setup produces a lot bigger yeild than in soil.

They say it does and i have heard from growers that i should get a bigger harvest....thus far the way the plants are lookin and how much thicker the aero stems are i am expecting more than from the soil.

I am growing in Miracle Grow soil and received a lot of negative comments about it. But to be honest three weeks into flowering I cannot tell much of a difference in growth rate to my previous hydroponic setups. The smaller plants had a yellow leaf or two due to the strength of the nutes already in the soil but they soon got used to it and are now growing at a rapid rate. I have not needed to add any extra fertiliser as yet and if things carry on as they are I will be using Miracle grow again.
Will flush the last week to remove any remaining chemicals.
