For being underdogs, I think West ham earned alot of respect for making it such a great game... I've supported Liverpool since the '77 Cup final, and I've seen some awful teams with talentless players. The team that played in the final this year is as solid as any I've seen in almost 30 years. But we only score goals when our lives depend on it. Lke if we're 1-0 up, we settle for that. If we're 0-2 down, we fight for those 3 goals for as long as it takes to claw back.. And no, no way, was that the best Final of modern times! Remember 1979? Arsenal beating Man United at the death!
