Since many vegetarians and vegans are cruelty free I thought maybe someone can help me out with this. my husband is looking for a good deodorant/antipersperant, from a company that doesn't engage in animal testing nor has animal derived ingredients. I have the "companies that do and don't test" list, but we don't know of a good one. so if anyone has any suggestions i'd apreciate it. I use kiss my face but I haven't seen it for men. thanks
toms of maine? oddley enough there are companies that do not test on animals but then have animal ingrediants in their products....like burt's bees. they have lard in their orange face wash. go figure
May be check out whole foods? I need to found out this too because I haven't been wearing deodorant and well the summer days are coming.
does it have to be antipersperant? I have the Thai Crystal stick. It doesn't make you not sweat, it makes you not stink. I understand some people have to have antiperspirant if they work in an office or something maybe, just for social reasons. I haven't found a cruelty free antiperspirant AND deordorant yet. I had to get used to the non-antiperspirant but it's not bad.
I could be wrong, but I think I've heard that Colgate just bought out Tom's of maine I use Nature's Gate brand. They're pretty gender-neutral.
You could always google "vegan deoterant" on the net and im sure you will get some good options. these days you can find just about anything vegan on the net.
Tom's was bought by Colgate but Tom and Kate will remain involved. So we shall watch, with some hope. If all CP will do is distribute from the current or expanded in the same mold factory, I'm OK with it (hey the big boys are learning that we have economic power)
