i might get fired...

some chick managed to swindle 400 dollars from me at work last night. it was so confusing. and ugh..
yeah i might get fired. when i called and told my district manager, she told me its my fault. .. which is grounds for termination...

i've never been fired before. this is sad.

dilligaf got fired from a truck stop cause a trucker used a fake fuel card to fill up,, but that was only like 250 bucks..

 

a convienent store. it was through VISA reload cards. you cant actually bring a gun to the store and get that much.. i drop money in the safe all the time (which i cant get into) and so i only have like 50 bucks for robberies.

the last robbery that happened at a store in our district was over 100 (the employee wasnt dropping like we're required). that usually gets you fired. ..so my guess is 400 will definately get me fired.

same basic thing that happenned to dilligaf.. yeah youll be fired unless ya wanna pay it back,.. an then they still may fire ya..

umm.. they arent legally allowed to take money from my paychecks.




and she got it cause she was making it all confusing. .. and part of it is my managers fault cause he never told me i had to take the money for those first, then activate them. and that it has to be paid in cash.
so she tried to pay with a check. and the check isnt accepted on the register. while i'm doing that, she put the things in her purse (everyone does that.. its annoying). and i tell her finally that i can't take it and i need the cards back. she gives the cards back, but kept the sheet with the pin that prints out when i activate them. i didnt think about it til after she left, and so i called the company of the machine and they, being assholes had me transfered 3 times and on hold for 30 minutes. by the time that they finally talked to me, she had gotten the money.

when i go in today, i'm going to tell my manager i'm quitting cause i'm sick of this shit, so he might want to start looking for a replacement (the only reason i've been staying is cause everyone else has been quitting on him and he needs me.. but the stress from the last 2 months has been so bad, i get physically ill from it)

 

Wildflower---Call the local labor board.I don't think it's legal to fire someone because of a crime committed by a customer.Unless you didn't follow proper procedure or were in collusion with the person that committed the crime.Don't just roll over on this--check it out and stick up for your rights!

well my district manager is saying its my fault cause you're supposed to activate the cards after you get the cash. i wasnt ever told that, but since its the rule, i technically broke procedure.

the only reason i wont get fired is cause my manager needs me to stay (in two weeks, i'm his only employee...). i dont want the job anyway. but itll be better if i can quit.
