it'd be really cool to have a band named Electric Mayhem, like from The Muppets. does anyone know if there already is one? if so, are they good?
According to Allmusic and Wikipedia there is no such nand. (Apart from the original ofcourse.) I'm sure some local band, somewhere would have adopted the name.

possibly not. I don't think that a reasonable person would confuse the Muppet band with a live touring act any more than someone would confuse a Brautigan novel and a band that uses the same name (Trout Fishing in America) so depending on the "reasonable person" criteria where the band name is used, they could get a trademark on it.
