ok. about 6 months ago my friend whose name cannot be mentioned gave me one of her cats. it has gotten to be happy at my house since then. yesterday she gave me her other cat. they've been fighting ever since then. do any of you know ways to get cats to get along? oh, by the way, my friend, whose name cannot also be mentioned says to mention that both of these cats are girls. so there.
Give it some time. They need time to get used to each other. Unless, they were both living with your unmentioned friend together? They you should ask her if they fought in her home. But with every time I have had to introduce two cats, especially of the same sex, it has not been easy. But after time of them getting used to the fact and accepting that the other one is there to stay, the fighting stopped. Also, you may want to introduce positive things to them both at the same time while they are near each other. Yummy treats, cat nip.....may lighten the negetive energy between them for a little bit. I did that with two cats of mine...they both rolled around in cat nip together and didnt have any problems. So maybe that helped them in the long run....I dunno.
yeah, they lived together before and were really good friends until my friend gave them both a flea bath and after that they both hated eachother. i dont know i might just get rid of one of them cause i know a place one of them can stay. yay!
